Applications are invited from eligible candiates for admission into following programme for 2014.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Physics
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mathematics programs

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D in Physics Program

• Candidates should have M.Sc/M.Sc (Tech) in Physics, Applied Physics, and Materials Science with GATE/UGC/CSIR/NBHM or with M.Tech (Opto. electronics/Applied Optics /Optical Communication or equivalent).

For Ph.D in Mathematics Program

• Candidates should have master's degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/Physics/Computer Science with GATE/UGC/CSIR/NBHM or M.Tech (Industrial Mathematics & Scientific Computing) or any M.Tech degree with Master's degree in Mathematics/Physics/Statistics/ Computer Science.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be based on the performance in their written test and interview conducted by the institute.
