Indus University (IU), Ahmedabad Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Engineering Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following full time and part time for 2014.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Civil Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Computer Science Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electrical Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mechanical Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Metallurgical Engineering

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should have M.E/M.Tech in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology with 60 % marks or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale for general merit. For SC / ST / OBC candidates it is 55 % marks or CGPA of 6 on a 10 point scale).
                                                   Or
  Candidates should have B.E /B.Tech degree from reputed institutions in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology with 75 % marks or CGPA of 8.0 on a 10 point scale for general merit for SC/ST/OBC candidates it is 55 % marks or CGPA of 6 on a 10 point scale with minimum 3 years experience in professional environment and/or publications in referred journal.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be based on the performance in the Indus University Research Aptitude Test (IURAT-2014) and Personal interview (PI) conducted by the university.

• Last date of submission of application form: 29^th Jul, 2014.
• Date of IURAT: 2^nd Aug, 2014 to 3^rd Aug, 2014.
• Announcement of result: 16^th Aug, 2014.
