Kurukshetra University (KUK), Kurukshetra Invites Applications for Admission into B.Tech in Biotechnology Program 2014-15

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for direct admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology program offered at University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Kurukshetra against vacant/seats for 2014-15.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics and Biology as compulsory subjects along with any one of the three subjects i.e. Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science are eligible to apply.
• Candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category).

How to Apply

• The application forms are available in UIET office or can be downloaded form UIET website http://www.uietkuk.org.
  
  
• Applications complete in all respect should reach in the office of Director UIET, with a bank draft of Rs.500/- (General), 125/- (for SC/BC/SBC/EBP) in favour of Director, UIET, payable at Kurukshetra.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks of Physics, Biology and any one of the three subjects i.e. Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science in 10+2.

Important Dates

• Last date of receipt of applications in the UIET Office, KUK: 4^th Aug, 2014 up to 4 p.m.
• Display of first merit list: 5^th Aug, 2014.
• Fee deposition and reporting: 6^th Aug, 2014.
• Display of final merit list: 7^th Aug, 2014.
• Fee deposition and reporting: 8^th Aug, 2014.
