University of Jammu (JU), Jammu Invites Applications for Admission into B.Ed Program 2014-15

Applications are invited from eligible candidtes for admission into whole time/full time regular Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program for 2014-15.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor's degree examination in the faculties of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+2/10+1+3 pattern), Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Forestry and Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any other statutory university in India registered with the Association of Indian Universities and have secured atleast 45% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of general category.

• After completing the online application, the candidates are required to send the print out, duly signed and completed in all respects with bank challan. The application fee is Rs.1500/-.

Selection Procedure

• Admission shall be done through online counseling on the basis of the merit at the graduation level and college choice given by the candidate in the application form.

Important Dates

• Last date of submission of application form: 25^th Aug, 2014.
• Merit declaration: 26^th Aug, 2014.
• Date of filing online applications in case seats remain vacant:
• Date of filing of on line applications with late fee of Rs.100/- (i.e. normal fee+late fee Rs.1600/-): 2^nd Sep, 2014 to 14^th Sep, 2014.
• Merit declaration: 15^th Sep, 2014.
