University of Calicut, School of Distance Education (SDE), Calicut Invites Applications for Admission into Distance PG programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into distance mode MA, M.Com., M.Sc. and PG Diploma programmes in various subjects for 2014-15.

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Sc. in Mathematics Program

• Candidates should have at least 50% in Part II excluding subsidiaries of qualifying examination. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

For MA Programs

• Candidates should have at least 45% marks in Part I with the respective area of interest or 45 % under Part II in (Pattern 1 or Pattern 2) of the qualifying examination. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

For M.Com. Program

• Candidates should have at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination.OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Selection Procedure

• Admission to the above programs shall be based on the performance of students in an aptitude test conducted by the SDE of the University.
