Patna University, Patna Invites Applications for Admission into M.Ed Program 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Education (M.Ed) program in the Department of Education for 2014.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates who have obtained at last 55% marks in the B.Ed degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto duly recognized by the UGC and NCTE are eligible to appear at MEET, however there shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favour of SC/ ST/ OBC and other reserved category of candidates as defined by the state government.
  
  
• A person appearing at the qualifying examination as mentioned above may also apply.

• In that case, they will have to submit an additional draft of Rs.200/- (other than the draft of entrance fee) along with the application form in favour of “Head Department of Education.
  
  
• Candidates will have to submit two drafts; one in favour of “Controller of Examinations, Patna University” (of Rs.600/- or Rs.450/- as the case may be) and another in favour of “Head Department of Education” (of Rs. 200/-).

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the M.Ed Entrance Test (MEET-2014) conducted by the university.

• Last date to receiving application form: 17^th Oct, 2014.
• Date of receiving admit card: 20^th Oct, 2014 to 31^st Oct, 2014.
• Date of MEET: 1^st Nov, 2014.
• Declaration of result: 10^th Nov, 2014.
