Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Engineering Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for 2014.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in School of Infrastructure (Civil Engineering)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in School of Minerals
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

Eligibility Conditions

• 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (in 10-point scale) in M.Tech/M.E or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline (with a valid GATE score in the year of admission into the M.Tech program) with consistently good academic record or B.Tech/B.E or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline with 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA (in 10-point scale) with a valid GATE score, or UGC/CSIR-NET (with JRF) and consistently good academic record in the relevant field.
                                              Or
  60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (in 10-point scale) master’s or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline with consistently good academic record and valid GATE Score or UGC/CSIR-NET (with JRF).

• The hardcopy of application form with necessary enclosures should be signed and submitted to above mentioned address along with a demand draft of Rs. 500/- for general/OBC, Rs. 250/- for SC/ST drawn in favour of "IIT Bhubaneswar" on any nationalized bank payable at Bhubaneswar by post or in person in A4 size envelope only. Female candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
