Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme in Amrita School of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bangalore and Coimbatore campuses for 2015.

• Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Aerospace Engineering
• Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Chemical Engineering
• Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering
• Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering
• Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
• Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates shall be born on or after 1st July 1994.
  
  
• A pass in 10+2 (class XII) or its equivalent securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these three subjects.
                       Or
  A three year diploma in engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any state board of technical education or its equivalent.

• Applications can also be procured in person from the admissions office of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bangalore or Coimbatore on producing a demand draft for Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of “Amrita School of Engineering” payable at Coimbatore.
  
  
• Application can also be obtained by post, from the admission co-coordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bangalore or Coimbatore (address given below), on a written request indicating applicant’s full communication address together with a demand draft for Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of “Amrita School of Engineering” payable at Coimbatore.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination conducted by the university.
  
  
• Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the first year of 4 year B.Tech programs through counseling, based on their ranks in the entrance examination.

• Last date of issue of OMR application form: 23^rd Mar, 2015.
• Last date for receiving completed applications (OMR and online): 25^th Mar, 2015.

Date of entrance exam:

• Computer Based Test (CBT): 16^th Apr, 2015 to 18^th Apr, 2015.
• Paper & Pencil Based Test (P&P): 25^th Apr, 2015.
