United Bank of India Invites Applications for 450 Probationary Officers (PO) Recruitment 2012

United Bank of India invites applications for posts of 450 Probationary Officers (PO) posts from those qualifying IBPS Common PO Exam conducted in Sep 2011.

Probationary Officers (JMG Scale -I)– Total 450 Posts (Approx Rs. 24995/ Month)

Payment of fees and Online Registration : 24^th Feb to 9^th March, 2012,

Age and Educational qualifications are measured with respect to 1^st July, 2011

Eligibility Conditions

Only those people that have passed in IBPS PO CWE conducted in Sep 2011 may apply.
Age has to be between 21-30 yrs as on 01.07.2011 (Relaxation in Age Limit is 5 - SC/ST, 3 - OBC, 10 - PWD(on cumulative Basis)),
Should have completed graduation (UG or PG) in any Discipline with at least 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD).
Required Minimum IBPS Score
- For General Category :- Total Weighted Score (TWS) - 138 Marks and at least 24 Marks in each section,
- For OBC/SC/ST/PWD Categories :- Total Weighted Score (TWS) - 125 Marks with min 21 Marks in each section,
Should have completed a computer course of at least 6 months duration (Not Required if Studied Computer as a part of curriculum in academics (School / College etc. ))

Selection Procedure

United Bank of India will set cut-offs and candidates qualifying these cut-offs will be called for Interview (And/or GD).
Final Selection will be decided on the basis of overall performance in IBPS PO CWE and GD/Interview.
Interview will be of 100 Marks and at least 40 Marks are Needed to qualify in GD/Interview while 35 Marks are needed for SC/ST/OBC/PWD.
On final selection, candidates will be under probation for 2 Years and have to sign a service bond of Three years for sum of Rs. One Lakh.

Application Procedure

Fee is Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD and Rs.200 for Others (GEN/OBC).
Payment can be made from Feb 24 to Mar 9, 2012 at any branch of United Bank of India by This Payment Challan. You may also pay through NEFT Challan in case of paying through other banks. After Payment, Ensure that your copy of challan has Transaction ID/ NEFT UTR No., Branch Code, Date of Deposit etc. mentioned on it clearly.
Afterwards, Application is to be made online with all required details filled properly. You must Keep your payment challan (CBS/NEFT) safe as it is to be carried if called for GD/Interview.
Take two print outs of application form for future use. Sign it and paste a recent clear photograph in space provided. The form will be used if called for Interview.
Documents to be carried in GD/Interview are:-
- Original fee payment receipt (CBS/NEFT),
- Original IBPS CWE Score card.
- Online Application forms print outs submitted to both IBPS for PO CWE SEP-2011 and United Bank of India. Interview Call Letter is also to be carried(To be downloaded from Bank's website).
- Attested copies of Age Certificate, Cast Certificates (as applicable), Educational Qualifications certificates and computer certificate.
- Any one Photo identity proof ( PAN Card / Passport / Driving Licence / Voters Card / Bank Pass Book etc. ).
