Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview, depending upon job requirement. The written test is scheduled to be held on 29^th Jul, 2012. The interview will be held at Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Kolkata centers. The test / Interview schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter.

Eligibility Conditions

For Top Management Grade (TMG Scale VI)

Risk Management

- Master’s Degree with CAIIB / MBA / CFA with specialization in Risk Management / Chartered Accountant with qualification in Risk management from a recognized University / Institute
- Familiarity with Quantitative Techniques is desirable.
- Minimum 12 years of working experience in the relevant field

Integrated Treasury Management

- Post graduate with CAIIB / MBA (Finance) with specialization in Treasury Operations or CA with qualifications in Treasury Management from a recognized University / Institute
- Candidates, who have Treasury Management of IIBF or like Institutions, will be preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of working experience in the relevant field

Information Technology

- Master’s Degree in Science with CAIIB / Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering from a recognized University / Institute
- Minimum 12 years of working experience in the relevant field

Cash Management (Transaction Banking)

- Postgraduate Degree with CAIIB / MBA (Finance/ Marketing) from a recognized University / Institute
- Minimum 12 years of working experience in the relevant field

For Senior Management Grade (SMG Scale V)
Risk Management

- Post Graduate with CAIIB / MBA / CFA with specialization in Risk Management / Chartered Accountantwith qualification in Risk Management from a recognized University / Institute

Chief Economist

- Master’s Degree in Economics with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
- M Phil / PhD Degree will be considered as an additional qualification.
- Minimum 7 years of working experience in the relevant field

Middle Management Grade (MMG Scale III)

Economist

- Master’s Degree in Economics with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
- M Phil / PhD Degree will be considered as an additional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the relevant field

For Middle Management Grade (MMG Scale II)

Manager

- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
- Required years of working experience in the relevant field

Credit Officers

- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and CA / ICWA / CFA / MBA Degree with specialization in Finance from a recognized University / Institute
- Candidates, who have CAIIB / Diploma in Banking and Finance by IIBF, will be preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the relevant field

Online registration began from 29^th May, 2012 and will close on 12^th Jun, 2012.
Before filling the online application fees, candidates have to pay the fees amount of Rs.300 / Rs.50, through Challan, which can be downloaded from the official link of Bank: http://www.iob.in/uploads/CEDocuments/PAYMENT%20%20CHALLAN.pdf
Candidates can pay the fess amount in any branch of Indian Overseas Bank, in the Account Name & Account No. mentioned on the Challan.
Candidates can pay the fees amount from 29^th May to 2012 till 12^th Jun, 2012.
After paying the application fees, the bank will generate a complete payment Challan copies with mentioning the details of Branch Name & Code Number, Transaction ID, and Date of Deposit & Amount on it, which candidates are required to fill in the online application form.
For completing the online registration form, candidates have to fill the details of fee payment Challan, academic qualification details and have to upload their scanned passport-size photograph and signature.
After submitting the application form, the system will generate a Complete Online Application Form with unique Registration Number and Password, which candidates should secure with them for future reference.
Candidates should take a printout of the filled-in application form, as it will have to be submitted along with the E-Receipt and copies of all relevant certificates, for the further process.
Printed Application form, along with Fee Payment Challan Copy and photocopies of all relevant certificates / documents, should be submitted to Indian Overseas Bank, Specialist Officer Recruitment Project - 2012, Human Resources Development Department, Central Office, No. 763, Anna Salai, Chennai (Tamil Nadu) - 600002, by ordinary post on or before 19^th Jun, 2012.
