Canara Bank, Bangalore Invites Applications for Probationary Clerks Recruitment 2012

Candidates’ selection will be made on the basis of their performance in the IBPS CWE for Clerks 2011-12 Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS), Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the group discussion and personal interview. The group discussion, interview schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter.

Eligibility Conditions

Passed Matriculation / SSC (old pattern) / SSLC / 10th Standard Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board / University
Or
Passed HSC Examination of 10+2 (10+2+3) pattern / 11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or any equivalent examination / Diploma in Banking recognized by Central / State Government / UT Administration
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
Candidates should have obtained IBPS score in CWE for Clerks 2011-12, as per minimum cut off of individual subjects i.e., minimum 24 & above (General) & minimum 21 & above (SC / ST / OBC / VC / HI / OC / XSM) and State / UT cut off as mentioned in the advertisement.
Should have proficiency in Official Language of the State / UT for which the candidate is applying
Should have operating & working knowledge of Computer

Required Age

Candidates should be above the age of 21 years and below the age of 28 years.

Online registration commences from 18^th Jun, 2012 and will close on 1^st Jul, 2012.
Before filling the online application form, candidates have to pay a fee amount of Rs.100 / Rs.50, through Challan / NEFT.
Candidates can make the payment of the fee amount in any branch of Canara Bank through Challan or can make the payment through NEFT, in the Account No. 1173201002265, Beneficiary Account of Canara Bank Recruitment Project-2/2012-Probationary Clerks, Payee Bank Canara Bank, South End Road Branch, Bangalore, and IFSC Code CNRB0001173.
After paying the fee amount, the bank will generate a Challan / NEFT Receipt with details of Branch Name & Code No, Transaction Id / Scroll No., NEFT UTR No. and Date of Deposit & Amount, which candidates are required to fill in the online application form for its completion.
After submitting the application form, candidates should take a printout of the filled-in application form, as it will have to be submitted at the time of interview, along with the fee payment Challan copy / NEFT Receipt, IBPS score and copies of all relevant certificates.
