Union Bank of India (UBI), Mumbai Invites Applications for Recruitment 2012 For Specialist Officers

Applications are invited from eligible, capable and skillful professionals for the posts of Specialist Officers for the following positions:

Note

Selection of the candidates is to be made on the basis of their performance in the Written Test, Psychometric Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The written test is scheduled to be held on 7^th Oct, 2012. Candidates qualified in the written test will be called for the psychometric test, group discussion and personal interview. Examination schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter.

Eligibility Conditions

For Assistant General Manager (IT)

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University
Should have Certificate of CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) / CISM (Certified Information System Manager) / CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) from a reputed Institute
Minimum 10 years of working experience in Information Technology, out of which minimum 5 years of experience should be in Information Security Management in BFSI Domain

For Credit Officers

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University
Candidates possessing CA / ICWA / CS after completing std XII can also apply for the post.
Certificate of Computer Awareness & Office Automation (Computer Basics, DOS, Office, Internet & E-Mail) for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute
Minimum 5 years of working experience as an Officer in a PSU Bank / reputed Private Bank, out of which minimum 3 years of working experience as Credit Processing Officer
Should have sound knowledge of Banking Industry and Financial Markets

For Security Officer

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University
Certificate in Computer Awareness & Office Automation for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute
Minimum 5 years of working experience as an Officer in the Indian Army not below the Rank of Captain and its equivalent rank in the Indian Navy / Indian Air force with minimum 5 years of commissioned service
Or
Should be an Officer of equivalent Rank and service in Police and Central Para Military forces / Central Police Organizations

For Architect

B Arch (Architecture) Degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University
Certificate in Computer Awareness & Office Automation (Computer Basics, DOS, Office, Internet & E-Mail) for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute
Minimum 5 years of post qualification work experience in the related Electrical and Interior works with reputed consultancy firms / Contractors, for construction of multi storey buildings / repairs
Should be well conversant with Code of Practice and Local Buy Laws
Should be well conversant with Lessoning activities with Municipal Authorities
Should be well conversant with Computer Based presentation in Auto CAD, 3D Studio, 3D Max, and Photoshop, etc

For Electrical Engineer / Civil Engineer

BE / B Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering / Civil with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
Certificate in Computer Automation & Awareness Course for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a government recognized Computer Training Institute or should have Computer as one of the subjects at graduation / post-graduate degree level
Minimum 5 years of post qualification work experience in the relevant field

For Assistant Manager (Technical)

Should have qualified the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and have a valid score card issued by IBPS
Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy / Electronics / Electronics and Telecommunication / Computer Science / Information Technology / Textile / Chemical from a recognized University / Institute
Certificate in Computer Awareness & Office Automation (Computer Basics, DOS, Office, Internet & E-Mail) for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute

For Rural Development Officer

Should have qualified the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and have a valid score card issued by IBPS
Degree in Agriculture or Allied specializations such as Horticulture Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Dairy Science / Agri Engineering / Fishery Science / Pisciculture / Agri Marketing and Cooperation from a recognized University
Certificate in Computer Awareness & Office Automation (Computer Basics, DOS, Office, Internet & E-Mail) for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute

For Personnel Officer

Should have qualified the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and have a valid score card issued by IBPS
Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University
Post Graduate Degree / Diploma recognized in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / HRD / Social Work / Labour Law from a recognized University

Degree / Diploma in Business Administration / Management with specialization in HRD from a recognized University
Certificate in Computer Awareness & Office Automation (Computer Basics, DOS, Office, Internet & E-Mail) for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute

For Rajbhasha Adhikari

Should have qualified the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and have a valid score card issued by IBPS
Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with Hindi and English as subjects at the degree level from a recognized University / Institute
Certificate in Computer Awareness & Office Automation (Computer Basics, DOS, Office, Internet & E-Mail) for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute

For Fire Officer

Qualified Divisional Officer's Course from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur
Or
BE (Fire) Degree with 50% marks in aggregate from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or any other Institute recognized by India Council for Technical Education
Certificate in Computer Awareness & Office Automation (Computer Basics, DOS, Office, Internet & E-Mail) for a duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute

For Law Officer

Should have qualified the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and have a valid score card issued by IBPS
Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University / Institute

How to Apply

Online registration began from 17^th Jul, 2012 and will close on 31^st Jul, 2012.
Before filling the online application form, candidates have to pay a fee amount of Rs.100 / Rs.20, through Challan, in any branch of Union Bank of India, in the Account No. and Account Name mentioned on the Challan.
After payment of the fees, the bank will generate a Candidate’s Challan Copy with information of Branch Name, Branch SOL ID, Trans ID, and Date of Deposit & Amount, which candidates are required to fill in the online application form for its completion.
After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a Registration Number and Password, which candidates should keep with them for future reference.
After submitting the application form, candidates should take a printout of the filled-in application form, as it will have to be submitted at the time of interview along with the fee payment Challan copy and attested copies of all relevant certificates.
