SSC announced dates for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination-2010

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites both online/offline applications from eligible Indian Nationals for approx. 10000 posts through a Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination.

Name of the post: Data Entry Operators

Educational Qualifications: 12th pass

Age Limit: Min 18 – Max 27

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400

Name of the post: Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

Educational Qualification: 12th pass

Age Limit: Min 18 – Max 27

Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.1900

Mode of Selection: 

Selection will be made on the basis of examination to be held on 31/10/2010

Procedure of Examination:-

• Written examination (Multiple Choice Objective Type) and
• Skill test in data entry/typing on computer at prescribed speed (which will be qualifying in nature).

Note: Skill test in Data Entry/Typing is to be administered on Computer only.

Fee: Rs. 100/- for general and OBC candidates. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman.

Important:- Fee should be paid only in the form of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)" These stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country. Fee can also be paid through State Bank of India either by Challan or on-line payment.

Last Date: Last date for filling of the application is 20^th August, 2010 (5PM)
