• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the Written Examination and Personal Interview. The written examination is scheduled to be held on  15^th June, 2012.
• The written test will be conducted at Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Aligarh, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur and Vishakhapatnam. Examination centre and address will be mentioned in the candidates’ admit card.

• The online registration began on  10^th March, 2012 and will close on  9^th April, 2012 till 11.59 pm.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree of Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized University / Institute
• Candidates should be above the age of 21 years and below the age of 30 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates as per government norms)

Application Fee: Rs 100/- (Exempted for SC / ST / PH / Female candidates) 

How to Apply

• Willing candidates can fill the online application form by visiting the official link of UPSC: http://www.upsconline.nic.in/.
• The online registration began from March 10, 2012 and will close on April 9, 2012 till 11.59 pm.
• Candidates applying through online mode should pay the application fee of Rs 100, either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by net banking facility of SBI / State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore or by Visa / Master Credit / Debit card.
• Candidates should apply in the prescribed format else their form will be rejected.
