Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow has invited applications for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2014 for admission to various undergraduate technical and non-technical courses in government aided and private unaided institutions affiliated to UPTU, and some other state universities of Uttar Pradesh for the session 2014-15.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSEE 2014
Educational Qualification:
B.Tech/ B. Pharma: Candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of UP Board or 10+2 level examination, or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate.
BHMCT/ BFAD: Candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of UP Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University, securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
B. Arch.: A candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of UP Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University, securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate and passed without grace, each compulsory and optional subjects taken together. A candidate possessing three year diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central/State Govt., securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate is also eligible for admission to B. Arch.
Second Year (Lateral Entry) in B. Tech: Candidates must have passed three years Diploma in Engineering Course or three years B. Sc degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
Second Year (Lateral Entry) in B. Pharma: Candidates must have passed three years Diploma in Pharmacy Course, securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
Application Fee
Rs. 1000/- for Male candidates of General/ OBC category and Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST/ female candidates.
How to Apply
Online Application Process: Interested & eligible candidates may apply for this test Online through the link available at UPSEE website www.upsee.nic.in or www.uptu.ac.in. The link for submission of Online Application will be open from 15 March 2014 to 05 April 2014 up to 10 pm.
Offline Application Process: Application Forms can also be submitted OFFLINE through designated Help-Desks at affiliated institutions of UPTU. For this, candidates may contact any of Help-Desks at Institutions of UPTU.
NOTE: For both the ONLINE and OFFLINE Applications, the confirmation page must be sent to “The Registrar, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, I.E.T. Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow (UP)-226021 by 07 April 2014.”
