JAM 2014 application forms for admission to M.Sc available from 17th April

The application forms for admission by JAM 2014 scores will be available from April 17 to April 24, 2014. The results for JAM 2014 will be announced on April 16, 2014.

The exam was conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur on 9^th Feb,  2014. The Joint Admission Test is held to test the eligibility of candidates applying for admission to M.Sc, Joint M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree and other postgraduate degree programmes at IITs and IISc.

Only the candidates who qualify in JAM 2014 (whose names appear in the Merit List) will be eligible to apply for admission to any of the corresponding academic programmes available at IISc and IITs.

Application fee:

Candidate has to pay an application fee of Rs 600/- in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of "Chairman JAM, IIT Kanpur", payable at Kanpur.

Admission process:

After the results for the entrance examination are announced, the candidates are supposed to download the application forms for admission to the programmes from the official website of JAM: http://gate.iitk.ac.in/jam/index.html

Candidate has to fill only one form listing all the programmes (along with the order of preference) he or she is seeking admission to.

Candidate is supposed to send the printout of the duly filled application form along with the required enclosures to the Organizing Chairman, JAM 2014, IIT Kanpur, Kanpur, UP-208016.
