MAT May 2014 to be conducted in 35 cities today

The All India Management Association is conducting paper-based Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for session May 2014 today. The MAT May 2014 will be held in 35 cities of 18 states across the country.

Out of these 35 cities only 8 are allotted as centers for computer based exam. The paper-based test will take place only on one day from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, whereas the computer based test will take place May 10 onwards in different time slots.

MAT is a standardised test to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates seeking admission to MBA and allied programmes. The government of India, Ministry of HRD, approved MAT as a national level test in 2003.

MAT is conducted four times in a year - in the months of February, May, September and December. Its score used for admissions to management courses. A total of 380 institutes accept MAT scores for admission to their management programmes.
