CAT 2014 Pattern Changed

CAT aspirants would now have 30 more minutes to solve their paper however there will be still increase in the number of total questions.

The CAT examination paper consists of two main sections i.e Quantitative Ability (QA) and Data Interpretation (DI) as well as Verbal Ability (VA) and Logical Reasoning (LR). Previously, the CAT examinees used to get 140 minutes to solve 60 questions. Now the candidates would need to answer 100 questions in 170 minutes. Thereby lowering the proportionate time for each question.

Each of the sections would contain 50 questions from which the candidates need to attempt the most they can. The CAT candidates, from this year can also choose from any of the sections to begin with.

Those candidates who are willing to take tutorials from the website can do it well in advance by paying the registration payment online. They can prepare themselves well with these tutorials and can avoid any hassle of getting the same through long offline process.
