AICTE to launch new Scholarship Schemes for Girls and Differently-abled Students

All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi has announced its new scholarship programmes. for to students under various categories. Two schemes for scholarship are launched for girls and for differently-abled.

The scholarship programme for girls is named as Pragati Scholarship. There will be around 4000 scholarship under the scheme and an amount of Rs. 2000 per month will be granted to all the students who fall under it for 10 months.

According to the scheme, the scholarship is valid for those families having only one girl child and the family income should be less than 6 lakh per annum.

The scholarship will be awarded to those students in the first year of the academic year who have been admitted in any of the AICTE approved institution for any diploma or UG courses.

The scheme for differently-abled scholarship will have around 1000 scholarship and an amount of Rs. 2000 will be given to each student per month for 10 months.

In this scheme also the family income should not exceed Rs 6 lakh per annum and the student should be enrolled in any of the AICTE approved institution for diploma and UG courses.
