B.A. Hons. Bengali or Bachelor of Arts Honours in Bengali is an undergraduate Bengali language course. It concerns the field of arts and covers the language subject Bengali. Bengali or Bangla is an eastern Indo-Aryan language. It is native to the region of eastern South Asia known as Bengal, which comprises present day Bangladesh, the Indian state of West Bengal, and parts of the Indian states of Tripura and Assam. B.A. is generally three academic year degree course and it may be provided on a part time basis by certain institutes.
