B.B.S. or Bachelor of Business Studies is an undergraduate Commerce course. Business Studies is a study that combines the elements of accountancy, finance, marketing, organizational studies and economics. The Course promises an efficient and innovative skill development in the candidates, which are indispensably required in the different business sectors. The knowledge of business and administration develop a general management perspective in them. The duration of the degree course is three years and its syllabus is divided into six semesters. The course is an important and career providing in nature which opens many jobs for the candidates after its completion.
Bachelor of Business Studies Eligibility
- Appeared/Passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ WW/ Physically Challenged Categories) in four papers including English. Rest of the papers may be Accountancy, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Geography, History, Informatics Practices, Introductory Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Secretarial Practices, Social Science, Sociology, Word Processing.
- Mode of Selection: A written examination followed by an interview and a group discussion as well as performance in XII class will be used to select candidates for the course.
