B.Sc. (Hons.) Information Technology or Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Information Technology is an undergraduate Information Technology Management course. Information Technology is the branch of engineering that deals with the use of computers and telecommunications to retrieve and store and transmit information. Course aims to acquaint students with a wide range of problems that arise in computing & information technology, together with various methods & technologies available as solutions. Course includes communications, computer networking, computer-based systems, database management, software development, website development, digital media and electronic publishing. Students learn how to evaluate current and emerging technologies, identify user needs, design user-friendly interfaces, apply, configure and manage technologies, and assess the impact of technologies on individuals, organizations and society.
