BSW or Bachelor of Social Work is an Under-Graduate Social Work course. Social work refers to a variety of services aimed at assisting the impoverished and elderly and improving their well-being. BSW is a three-year program. The minimum time required to complete this course is three years, while the maximum time required is six years. It is offered as a full-time course as well as through a distance education program or correspondence.

The Bachelor of Social Work is sometimes known as the BA (SW) or Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. Social Work Courses teach the values of social work and how to implement them intentionally in practice. This Bachelor of Social Work program prepares students to become social workers who can assist persons suffering from homelessness, poverty, violence, abuse, and illnesses such as cancer and AIDS.
