B.Tech Bioinformatics or Bachelor of Technology in Bioinformatics is an Under-Graduate Bioinformatics course. The application of computer science and information technology to the fields of biology and medicine is known as bioinformatics. Algorithms, databases and information systems, web technologies, artificial intelligence, and soft computing, information and computation theory, software engineering, data mining, modeling and simulation, signal processing, discrete mathematics, control, and system theory, circuit theory, and statistics are just a few examples.

The Bachelor of Technology course in Bioinformatics lasts four years, and the syllabus is divided into eight semesters. The course is essential and job-oriented in nature; candidates are recruited through campus placements by several reputable firms after completing or during the fourth year.

B.Tech Bioinformatics Eligibility

  • Aspiring students must have qualified for their 10+2 examination or any other equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as one of the main subjects from a recognized Board.
  • The aspirants should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% for the Reserved Category) at their Intermediate level.
