| Type: | Degree |
| Eligibility: | 10+2 |
B.Tech. Manufacturing Technology or Bachelor of Technology in Manufacturing Technology is an undergraduate Manufacturing Technology course. Manufacturing is the use of machines, tools and labour to produce goods for use or sale. The term may refer to a range of human activity, from handicraft to high tech, but is most commonly applied to industrial production, in which raw materials are transformed into finished goods on a large scale. Such finished goods may be used for manufacturing other, more complex products, such as aircraft, household appliances or automobiles, or sold to wholesalers, who in turn sell them to retailers, who then sell them to end users, the consumers. B.Tech. (Manufacturing Technology) is four years duration course. The course is provided by most of the colleges throughout the country as it nature is career originating one.
B.Tech. Manufacturing Technology Eligibility
- Students should be passed with 10+2 or its equivalent exam in Science stream.
- Students also will have to appear in entrance test.

How is B.Tech. Manufacturing Technology Course Beneficial?
- Manufacturing technology provides the productive tools that power a growing, stable economy and a rising standard of living. These tools create the means to provide an effective national defence. They make possible modern communications, affordable agricultural products, efficient transportation, innovative medical procedures, space exploration and the everyday conveniences we take for granted.
- Production tools include machine tools and other related equipment and their accessories and tooling. Machine tools are non-portable, power-driven manufacturing machinery and systems used to perform specific operations on man-made materials to produce durable goods or components. Related technologies include Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) as well as assembly and test systems to create a final product or subassembly.
- Manufacturing technology provides the tools that enable production of all manufactured goods. These master tools of industry magnify the effort of individual workers and give an industrial nation the power to turn raw materials into the affordable, quality goods essential to today’s society. In short, we make modern life possible.
