L.L.M. Criminal Law and Criminology or Master of Legislative Law in Criminal Law and Criminology is a postgraduate criminal law course. Criminal law is a body that relates to crime. It may be said that these are the rules which defines conduct that is not allowed because it is held to threaten, harm or endanger the safety and welfare of people, and that sets out the punishment to be imposed on people who do not obey these laws. Criminal law is to be distinguished from civil law. The duration of Master of Law in Criminal Law and Criminology is two years and the course comprises four semesters.

L.L.M. Criminal Law and Criminology Eligibility

Admission to the LL.M. Degree Course of study shall be open to those candidates who have passed the Three Year LL.B. Degree Examination of the University or such Examination of any other University or Institution after Graduation under 10+2+3 pattern; or Five Year LL.B.
Degree Course under 10+2+5 pattern as is recognized by this University as equivalent for the purpose of LL.M. Degree Course and have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate in the LL.B. Examinations.
Candidates will have to appear in (PET)-Postgraduate Entrance Test in the respective institute where they want to get admission.
