M.A. Criminology and Police Administration or Master of Arts in Criminology and Police Administration is a postgraduate criminology course. Students acquire knowledge and skills related to the development of modern criminological thought and the integration of theory and practice in the field of criminology. Criminology is the scientific study of causes, nature and control of criminal behavior in society and an individual. Subjects studied under this degree are Criminal Law, Special Laws, Police Psychology, Criminology and forensic science.

M.A. Criminology and Police Administration Eligibility

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or 45% marks in one of the following subjects: Public Administration, Political Science, History, Psychology, Economics, Sociology, and Social work, Criminology, Anthropology, any Discipline of Management, Arts or Social Sciences. Or Graduate Police officers with ten years of service shall also be eligible.
