M.Arch. (Architectural Conservation) or Master of Architecture in Architectural Conservation is a two year post graduate programme. Architectural Conservation is a specialization in architecture, which addresses the special requirements of built heritage comprising of historic buildings, group of buildings, areas, cities and cultural landscapes in a comprehensive manner. It is a multi-disciplinary stream which aims at training architects in tackling conservation issues at planning level, interpreting history in modern context, dealing with structural issues and documentation of cultural and built heritage. Candidates learn how to engage in all aspects of the problem solving process including the different types of developmental issues while being sensitive to social responsibilities, sustainability and urban interventions.

  • Bachelor of Architecture with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC / ST candidate)or any other equivalent qualification.
