M.B.A. (Infrastructure) Master of Business Administration in Infrastructure

M.B.A. Infrastructure or Master of Business Administration in Infrastructure is a postgraduate Infrastructure Management course. Master of Business Administration is one the most sought after courses which can be attained by students of any stream. M.B.A. (Infrastructure) programme encompasses a comprehensive and well-structured two-year curriculum designed specifically to provide specialized training in the concepts and skills involved in the infrastructure service delivery, regulatory process, and competition policy, as well as helping the managers understand regulation from technical, economic, social, legal and political perspectives. The duration of M.B.A. in Infrastructure is normally a two years program with two or more semesters but time duration may differ from institute to institute and also may be on part time basis by certain institutes. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters.
M.B.A. Infrastructure Eligibility
Admission to any of the IIM (Indian Institutes of Management) schools requires passing Common Admission Test (CAT) along with graduate degree from a recognised college and university, however other business schools requires passing eitherMAT, CAT, GMAT, JMET or XAT each of which qualifies candidates for entrance into any management institutions in India.
Apart from these entrance tests there are few business schools which conducts aptitude test individually which qualifies candidates for that particular business school. The short listed candidates of the IIMs and some other leading management institutes are expected to write essays.
Group discussions and personal interviews are also conducted generally to determine the personality traits and communication skills of the candidates. For many management colleges in India, Admission: Many B-schools offer admission to a candidate on the basis of the cumulative scores of the Entrance Exam, GD/PIs, and sometimes work experience.
The two-year M.B.A. in Infrastructure is offered to students in two optional streams. Stream I For graduates without work experience and Stream II For graduates with work experience.
Eligibility for Stream I
(i) Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA with English at 10+2 level.
Eligibility for Stream II
(ii) Graduates with a minimum of two years experience in any of the following sectors namely government, regulatory bodies, industry, research/academic institutions, or consultant organizations.
