M.D. Chest & Tuberculosis or Doctor of Medicine in Chest & Tuberculosis is a postgraduate Medicine course.  Course produce a competent chest physician who recognizes the health needs of patients having chest complaints and carries out professional obligations in keeping with the principles of National Health Policy and professional ethics. A person who has acquired the competencies pertaining to chest medicine that is required to be practiced in the community and at all levels of the health care system. The course helps to the contemporary advances and developments in medical sciences as related to pulmonary medicine. The duration of the course is two years and it may vary in some institutes.
