Masters in Dental Surgery in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics or M.D.S. Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics is a three year post graduate programe.  Course focuses on pediatric/adolescent growth and development, disease causality and prevention, child psychology and management, and all aspects of the highly-specialized Pediatric restorative techniques and modalities. Course helps to advice and counsel parents, treat dental injuries like chipped teeth, cavities, gum disease and other infections in the mouth. “Most importantly, a pediatric dentist teaches children dental care. S/he explains the importance of brushing, flossing and appropriate nutrition, thus setting the stage for a lifetime of great oral hygiene,” explains Dr Kher.
