M.E. Biotechnology Colleges
M.E. Biotechnology Course Suitability
- They should have a scientific aptitude and a keen interest in the biological sciences.
- Applicants should be methodical and patient by nature, able to work neatly and accurately and have a flair for laboratory work.
- The ability to work independently is another important aspect for it; ability to use computers in work is very important and biotechnologist needs certain skill of problem solving, information technology skill, analyzing and interpreting skills.
How is M.E. Biotechnology Course Beneficial?
- Biotechnology engineering graduates typically begin their careers in technical roles in the biotechnology industry and progress rapidly to managerial positions.
- They are employed in the environmental sector for bio-treatment and bioremediation of various kinds of wastes.
- Biotechnologists work in industries producing food, chemicals, bio-processed products etc.
- They are involved in research in genetics, biochemistry and biochemical engineering and all areas where these processes are implied. Industrial R&D covers areas such as chemical processes, increase in productivity, waste and pollution management. Some industries employ biotechnologists in their marketing department to develop business in the sector where their product would be most required.
- Course is also beneficial for further studies such as M.Phill, Ph.D. etc.
- The program provides not only the opportunity for extensive, cutting edge scientific training, but also the opportunity to examine the legal, social, and economical sides of biotech.
