ME Tool Design or Master of Engineering in Tool Design is a Post-Graduate Mechanical Engineering program. The Master of Engineering course in Tool Design covers practical subjects such as the Design of Jigs and Fixtures, Design of Press Tools, Die Casting Design, Plastic Moulds Design, Design of cutting tools, Advanced Plastic Processing Technologies, Metrology, and Measurements, etc. Students have the opportunity to work in the areas of Design of Moulds and Dies, cutting tools, and extruders in association with the ongoing research projects of the faculty members sponsored by agencies such as DRDO laboratories, ISRO, AICTE, DST, and other agencies. The duration of the Master of Engineering course in Tool Design is three years and it is career orienting/providing in nature that opens many areas for them after its completion.

  • Aspiring students should have passed a BE / B.Tech degree or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  • The students should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at their Graduation level.
