Master of Philosophy in Biophysics

M.Phil. Biophysics or Master of Philosophy in Biophysics is postgraduate Bioscience programme. This course helps to provide the graduate with a skill-set which will advance them towards the goal of becoming an independent researcher. The aim of the research is to contribute towards the understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the normal functioning and pathology of the brain. The broad areas of research are cellular signal transduction, membrane structure-function, ion channels and molecular mechanism underlying neurodegenerative disorders. The duration of the course is two years.

M.Phil. Biophysics Eligibility    

• Post Graduate degree in relevant subject or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates should clear the common an entrance exam conducted by the University for the Course.
