M.Phil. Women’s Studies or Master of Philosophy in Women’s Studies is a postgraduate Social Science course. The Course is spread over a minimum of 3 semesters with course work (20 credits) to be completed during two semesters. This course will introduce students to the feminist debates in research methodology. It helps to equip students with methods and techniques for doing research. This course will enable students to understand social theory from feminist perspectives and to examine feminist debates within social theory. After passing the course, they have many career options at various locations including further study options.

  • Aspiring students should have passed a Master's Degree in the Women’s Studies with a minimum of Second Class securing at least 55% of the aggregate marks or in an examination recognized as equivalent.
