M.Sc. Agricultural Microbiology or Master of Science in Agricultural Microbiology is a postgraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Agricultural Microbiology is a branch of microbiology dealing with plant-associated microbes and plant and animal diseases. It also deals with the microbiology of soil fertility, such as microbial degradation of organic matter and soil nutrient transformations. The duration of M.Sc. in Agricultural Microbiology is mostly of two academic years but it varies from institute to institute. The Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh is providing in two years. The minimum time to complete the course is also two years. Course is available both in full time and part time basis.
