MSc Inorganic Chemistry or Master of Science in Inorganic Chemistry is a Post-Graduate Chemistry course. Inorganic chemistry is the study of the synthesis and behavior of inorganic and organ metallic compounds. The Inorganic Chemistry degree has applications in every aspect of the chemical industry-including catalysis, materials science, pigments, surfactants, coatings, medicine, fuel, and agriculture.

The Master of Science program in Inorganic Chemistry focuses on the scientific study of the elements and their compounds, other than the hydrocarbons and their derivatives. Includes instruction in the characterization and synthesis of non-carbon molecules, including their structure and their bonding, conductivity, and reactive properties; research techniques such as spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and photoelectron analysis; and the study of specific compounds, such as transition metals, and compounds composed of inorganic and organic molecules.

MSc Inorganic Chemistry Eligibility

Candidates should have passed Graduation in relevant subjects or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

The candidates should have secured at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent in their Bachelor's.

In reputed universities and colleges, there is an entrance examination for admission.

MSc Inorganic Chemistry Course Suitability

They should have operation monitoring such as watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

They also possess Mathematical skills such as knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.

Applicants should also have computer and electronics skills such as knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

They should also be self-dependence as the ob requires developing one's own ways of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision, and depending on oneself to get things done.

How is the MSc Inorganic Chemistry Course Beneficial?

The Master of Science course in Inorganic Chemistry is beneficial to prepare students for professional careers in chemistry and related fields in industry, government, and educational institutions.

The programs in Inorganic Chemistry provide training in materials chemistry, kinetics and mechanism, organ metallic chemistry, and bioinorganic chemistry.

Applicants can have employment in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and oil industries, to the manufacture of detergents, cosmetics, and explosives. Further work can also be found in government, health services, and the media.

They can also be employed in fields as diverse as the mining and microchip industries, environmental science, and education. Their work is based on understanding the behavior and the analogs for inorganic elements, and how these materials can be modified, separated, or used–often in product applications.
