M.Sc. Medical Physics or Master of Science in Medical Physics is a postgraduate course. Medical Physics is an applied branch of physics devoted to the application of concepts and methods from physics to the diagnosis, treatment of human disease, planning and development of treatment equipment. A Qualified Medical Physicist is competent to practice independently one or more of the subfields (tracks) of medical physics. The duration of the course is two years and the syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters. The Master degree course is career orienting in nature that opens many career scopes for the candidates after its successful completion.

  • B.Sc., in Science with Physics as one of the subjects B.Sc., Physics allied/ancillary Mathematics and Chemistry (or) triple major with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry. B.Sc., Applied Science with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry with minimum 55% marks.
