M.Sc. (Psychatric Nursing) or Master of Science in Psychatric Nursing is a two year post graduate programme. The main focus of the program is on clinical practice in an area of mental health service provision. Program provides opportunities to study issues and topics of particular interest such as dual diagnosis, psycho-social and psycho-educational interventions, mental health care for older people, illness management and recovery and mental health in primary care. After the course you will provide care to individuals, families or populations who are at risk for developing or who have common, acute or chronic mental health problems, illnesses or crises.
