Master of Technology in Bio-Medical Engineering

Email

Duration:2 Years
Level:Post Graduation
Type:Degree
Eligibility:Graduation

M.Tech. Bio-Medical Engineering or Master of Technology in Bio-Medical Engineering is a two year post graduate Biomedical Engineering course. There are three major areas which Biomedical Engineering pursues and seeks to improve: healthcare diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy, each of which is examined in Master in Biomedical Engineering programs. Biomedical Engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology. This field seeks to close the gap between engineering and medicine: It combines the design and problem solving skills of engineering with medical and biological sciences to improve healthcare diagnosis, monitoring and therapy. Course covers the fields of bioelectronics, biomaterials, biomechanics, bioinformatics, nano-biological sciences and clinical engineering. Subjects studied under this degree are Applied Mathematics for Electronics Engineers, Biomedical Sensors & Instrumentation Anatomy and Physiology, Bio Mechanics and Rehabilitation Engineering.
