Eligibility

BE / BTech

MTech (Clinical Engineering) or Master of Technology in Clinical Engineering is a two-year Post-Graduate Environmental Science program. The Clinical Engineering program takes a unique approach to combining formal engineering study with hands-on clinical experience.

The Master of Technology in Clinical Engineering program prepares engineers to manage and assure the safe and effective use of technology in healthcare delivery settings. A clinical attachment, which exposes students to the clinical environment while they undergo an activity aimed at identifying challenges encountered in a normal clinical context and providing new solutions to them, is a distinctive aspect of the course. Candidates identify and provide solutions to challenges common in clinical engineering practice, such as equipment management, safety evaluation, and preventative maintenance.

MTech (Clinical Engineering) Eligibility

  • Aspiring students should have passed a BE / BTech or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  • The candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in their Bachelor's.
  • Some of the very reputed institutes conduct an entrance examination for admission.
