Graduation

MTech (Offshore Structures) or Master of Technology in Offshore Structures is a two-year Post-Graduate Civil Engineering programme. Offshore Engineering is a multidisciplinary field including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Marine Technology.

The Offshore Structures Master of Technology programme is divided into four specialisations: Fixed (Bottom Founded) Structures, Floating Structures, Subsea Engineering, and Dredging Engineering. Offshore and dredging engineers design structures for the oil and gas sector, such as fixed and floating platforms. They also develop underwater pipes and other equipment for this industry. The design of dredging equipment for land reclamation, maintenance, and the recovery of embedded minerals in deep-sea settings is an essential characteristic.

MTech (Offshore Structures) Eligibility

  • The students should have completed a BE / BTech degree or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  • The candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in their Bachelor's level.
  • Some of the very reputed universities and colleges conduct an entrance examination for admission.
