M.Tech (Operations Research in Industry) or Master of Technology in Operations Research in Industry is a two year post graduate programme. Course is concerned with making systems more efficient. Often this goal is achieved through the use of modeling and other computational methods. Program is designed to enable students to concentrate their studies in methodological areas such as mathematical programming, stochastic models, and simulation. Course is helpful to build and deploy an optimization solution to a group of end-users, using the AIMMS Graphical User Interface and to build an optimization engine ‘under the hood’ to empower existing registration systems.
