M.Tech. Pipeline Engineering or Master of Technology in Pipeline Engineering is a postgraduate Petroleum Engineering course. The course is designed to meet the specific requirements of the oil and gas sector, covering both high-pressure offshore and onshore pipelines.  The program helps to learn the principles behind designing pipelines, optimization of in-plant pipeline design, material selection and use of international standards like API, ANSI, ASTM and ASME. The program inputs are relevant in engineering activities like construction & maintenance of cross-country pipelines, pipeline operations, pipeline integrity system, investigation of pipeline defects, repairs and maintenance, etc. the duration of the course is two years and it is career orienting/providing after its completion successfully.

M.Tech. Pipeline Engineering Eligibility

  • Aspiring students should have passed a B.E./B.Tech. or any other equivalent qualification in relevant subject with minimum 60% marks.
  • Some of the very reputed universities and colleges conduct an entrance examination for admission.
