Ph.D. Anatomy or Doctor of Philosophy in Anatomy is a Doctorate Bioscience course. The duration of the program is a minimum two years from the date of registration (3 years for external candidates) and maximum 5-6 years. The Doctoral degree in Anatomy provides training in clinical human anatomy and independent research for individuals seeking a career in teaching and research at the medical school or university level. The first- and second-year curricula are devoted to anatomy course work and complementary electives selected from cell biology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, immunology, biostatistics and ethics in research.
