Ph.D. Applied Physics or Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Physics is a Doctorate Physics course.  Applied physics is a general term for physics which is intended for technological or practical use. Ph.D. Applied Physics Eligibility

  • Candidates should have passed an M.Phil. Degree and a Post-Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a University or a recognized institution of higher training.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognized institution of higher learning and five years of teaching/industry/administration/professional experience at senior level.
  • Some reputed colleges and institutes conduct an entrance examination for admission.
