Doctor of Philosophy in History Eligibility

M.Phil Degree and a Post-Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a University or a recognised institution of higher training;
OR
Masters Degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognised institution of higher learning and five years of teaching/industry/ administration/ professional experience at senior level.
Some reputed colleges and institutes do conduct entrance examination to get admission to their Ph.D. (History) degree course.
