Ph.D. (Horticulture) or Doctor of Philosophy in Horticulture is a Doctorate level Horticulture course. Horticulture is the science which is associated with the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, flowers, spices, ornamental plants, plantation crops, and tuber crops, medicinal and aromatic plants. • Postgraduates in Horticulture are eligible for M.Phil.
• For admission to Ph.D. Program different agricultural universities exercise different modes of admission. Most of the State Agriculture Universities and ICAR Institutes conduct Entrance Examinations for Ph.D. admissions.
