DNB CET 2015 - Diplomate of National Board Centralised Entrance Test acronym as DNB CET is conducted byNational Board of Examination as a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for entry to various Post Graduate courses including Direct 6 years course in the specialty of Plastic Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Cardio-thoracic Surgery and Paediatric Surgery.
DNB CET Exam Eligibility
Candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree/Provisional Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent / provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India and have completed one year of internship/likely to complete on or before 31st July 2015 may apply for DNB-CET examination.
Note: Candidates already pursuing a DNB course are not eligible to appear for the DNB-CET till such time they have completed the duration of prescribed course or have been discharged from the course.
Important: Registration with M.C.I./State Medical Council/ is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counselling.
DNB CET Exam Syllabus
The Syllabus for the test shall comprise of subjects /knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Government of India.
DNB CET Exam Pattern
DNB CET comprises of 200 multiple choices, single correct response questions in English language only to be completed in 3 Hrs. and 15 Min. There shall be no negative marking. The weightage of the questions will be as follows:

Candidates who obtain a minimum score as per category below shall be declared as “Qualified” in DNB CET and issued a PASS /QUALIFYING Certificate.

DNB CET Exam Validity
The validity of the result of the DNB-CET shall be only for the current admission session i.e. July 2015admission session only and cannot be carried forward for the next session of CET.
DNB CET Exam Dates
The examination shall be conducted from August 2015, referred to as the testing window (with 20 and 25 August as anon-testing days).
How to apply for DNB CET Exam?
Aspiring candidates can apply by visiting official website www.natboard.edu.in/CET. Candidate may note that there is no option for submitting the form other than the online mode.
Candidates are advised to go through the registration guide before proceeding to complete their registration & scheduling process. Once the candidate has completed his/her scheduling process, there will be no option to reschedule.
Note: Candidates must purchase an Information Bulletin-cum-Examination Fee Voucher from selected list of Axis Bank branches prior to beginning the online registration process. The unique serial number of the Information Bulletin-cum-Examination Fee Voucher is available underneath the scratch panel and needs to be entered on the DNB-CET website for the online registration and scheduling process.
