ISMU - Indian School of Mines University Entrance Exam

ISMU Entrance Exam 2013 - Indian School of Mines University entrance exam acronym as ISMU entrance exam is taken by the university to admit candidates into its two year full time program in management. Candidates for the admission to the 40 seats of this Masters in Business Management programme are selected on the basis of CAT score followed by GD and personal interview.

ISMU Entrance Exam Eligibility 

A Bachelor’s degree after (10+2) in any discipline from a recognized institution, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, 45% in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and DA (Differently abled Categories)

Note: For Honours graduates the aggregate will include marks of both Honours and Pass Papers. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.

How to apply for ISMU Entrance Exam 

Interested candidates can download the application form from the website: http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in. Thereafter, the duly filled downloaded application form along with a DD of requisite fee must be send to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad.

One can also get the application form and information brochure by post by sending a request for the application form accompanied with a DD  of requisite fee as mentioned below  drawn in favour of Registrar, ISM University and payable at Dhanbad and should be addressed to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad.

ISMU Entrance Exam Fee

Candidates can send a request for ISM application form and brochure accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs.1500(Rs.750 for SC and ST candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines and payable at Dhabi and should be addressed to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Indian School of Mines, Dhabi The candidates may also download the application form from official website http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in.

Important: - Aspiring candidates an obtain ISMU 2012 Application Form and brochure at ISM, Dhanbad from Oct 04 to Dec 07 of the respective year and submit filled-in application form by December 07.

Note:- The institute will not issue any letter to any candidate regarding attending GD/PI as well as selection to the Program. Candidates must consult institute’s website (www.ismdhanbad.ac.in) regularly in this regard.

ISMU Entrance Exam Selection Process

Aspiring candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores and called for Personal Interview followed by Group Discussion.

Based on their performance in both Personal Interview and Group Discussion, a final list of selected candidates is made.
